Step 4: Reduce the selection
Now that you have a good understanding of how much space you have for your new TV, which are the most important features for you and the approximate amount of money you expect to spend, the time has come refine your selection.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- How much weight I can lift (or me or a friend / family member), with my car at home or transport truck and then lift the place where I want my TV?)
Or
- How are willing to pay for my TV shipped to my house and the configuration of the place where I want my TV?
Or
- Will I watch movies on TV?
Or
- Will look primarily cable and television network?
Or
- I’ll be hanging this TV on a wall?
Or
- Shall I put the TV on the floor or on a stand?
Based on the answers to these questions, you should be able to narrow the selection down to an approximate size, type and display a list of characteristics that are important to you.
