(Description) I was really excited to buy this TV (Sony KDL-65W5100 model #) until I discovered the truth about Sony’s engineering department this size TV screen. It turns out really diagnally and screen size is usually 61 inches. Sony tech told me that between frames of TV sets and then measures 64 5 inches accurate. Some producers give false information and they think consumers are stupid. Some are stupid and not knowing. Some arent. I read the specifications on this TV at Sony and many other websites. In particular he said the screen was 61 inches. The instructions for this TV as it measures 61 inches, but beyond that they say that TV is a 64 5 (65 categories) TV. But Sony has admitted that a 61-inch display pane exclusive inches.Hvad I get is that most websites selling this product close to $ 5,000. And in this economy thats money I do not want to throw away, right? Why buy a product that is not what your advertising? Now Sony 70 inch TV measures 72 inches. . that includes measures of the frame. And lists the screen size to 70 inches. That’s be honest. Dope I wonder who made the decision to advertise false information on this TV, there’s an old saying “There’s a sucker born every minute”. (Description) I was very surprised to learn from the other reviewer that the screen size is only 61 inches measured diagonally. I do not own this TV, but I’m looking for a unit to replace 65-inch 65-inch XBR Temine profection back. I did a little research and called Sony and I have referred to the outlet. I called three different stores, two in Las Angeles and one in Gilroy Ca and only had one TV in stock, but the seller was kind enough to measure the size of your TV screen. Called me about two hours of it and told me of the 64 measures 5 inches diagonally as Sony has announced. He also said that television gentleman quite measured on the horizontal axis. I write this not to deny other measurements votes, but I also know that Sony has built the Big Screen in a long time and they knew they could never sell a TV that is four centimeters smaller than the specifications say. I can not and do not pretend to speak for others, but if I bought a TV that was so far in screen size would be returned immediately.
